Warning - Overdue Australian trade mark renewals grace period reduced, effective 28 March
While it is advisable to renew trade mark registrations on time, it has been possible to renew Australian trade mark registrations up to twelve months after the due date for renewal.
IP Australia has now cut this to six months effective from 28 March 2008, upon which the trade mark will be deemed to have expired.
