Britta is a registered patent attorney who joined Baldwins in May 2007, having specialised in intellectual property since 2001. Based in our Wellington office, Britta is a member of our mechanical and electrical patent team. Her clients range from small local businesses to international corporations. When not advising clients, Britta enjoys sailing, skiing, running, soccer, and flying. She also enjoys spending time with her family.

Expertise

As a patent attorney, Britta specialises in drafting, filing, and prosecuting patent and design applications in New Zealand and overseas.  Britta also assists her clients to develop patent and design filing strategies and she advises on patent and design validity and infringement

Additional Experience

Britta has previous experience working in the plastics, composites, wood, and food industries.
