Lena joined Baldwins as a Trade Mark Executive in January 2007 after completing her LLB and working part-time as a Legal Assistant at a large State-Owned Enterprise. Prior to this, Lena obtained her MSc in Genetics through a collaboration between the University of Otago and the Crown Research Institute, AgResearch. She also worked as a research associate with the Microarray facility at the Crown Research Institute, Hortresearch.
Lena's main area of practice is the protection and prosecution of Trade Marks, in addition to providing advice in relation to passing off and the Fair Trading Act.
