Mike is a consultant in the Auckland office of Baldwins, specializing in the areas of patents, designs and copyright as they relate to technology and innovation.  He is responsible for the portfolios of several major New Zealand companies.

Expertise

Mike’s technical area of expertise is in the field of electrical and mechanical engineering with substantial experience also in the areas of designs, copyright and technology transfer.

Additional Experience

Mike has served as President of the New Zealand Institute of Patent Attorneys and President of FICPI (New Zealand). 
He is a Past President of the FICPI Publications Commission, a Member of Honour of FICPI, and is also Chair of the FICPI International Designs Committee.
Mike is particularly experienced in the Construction, Packaging and Meat Industries.
