Mike is a consultant in the Auckland office of Baldwins, specializing in the areas of patents and designs and copyright.  He is responsible for the portfolios of several major New Zealand companies.

Expertise

Mike’s technical area of expertise is in patents in the electrical and mechanical engineering fields and also in the areas of designs, copyright and technology transfer.  Mike is particularly experienced in the Construction, Packaging and Meat Industries.

Additional Experience

Mike has served as President of the New Zealand Institute of Patent Attorneys and President of FICPI (New Zealand).  He is a Past President of the FICPI Publications Commission and a Member of Honour of FICPI, and is also Immediate Past Chair of the FICPI International Designs Committee.  He is also a New Zealand member of the Advisory Panel of the Intellectual Property Magazine.
