Baldwins named winner in two categories at 2018 Asia IP Awards
Thursday 22nd November 2018
Baldwins is proud to have been named the winner of New Zealand Trade Mark Firm of the Year and New Zealand Copyright Firm of the Year. This is the eighth year in a row that Baldwins has been recognised as IP leaders in New Zealand. We would like to congratulate all the other winners for 2018 on their achievements.
46 firms from 19 Asia-Pacific jurisdictions took home trophies at the ninth annual Asia IP Awards, held on Friday November 16 at the Holiday Inn New Delhi International Airport in New Delhi.
Each year, the Asia IP Awards recognises top trade marks, patents, and copyright practices as determined by in-house counsel from Asia, Europe, and the Americas. More than 5,000 in-house counsel took part in a poll by Asia IP magazine throughout the first part of 2018. The event also names international award winners in each of the practice areas.
“There is a significant amount of high-level intellectual property work being done in Asia,” said Asia IP publisher Darren Barton. “Each year, the competition to win an Asia IP Award becomes more and more competitive.”
"We are thrilled to be the recipients of multiple awards for New Zealand for 2018. It is a testament to the high-calibre of our IP specialists, their expertise across the spectrum of IP, and the high level of service they provide to our clients and in-house counsel across the Asia-Pacific region. Our clients have acknowledged and commended our personalised approach, extensive knowledge of their IP, and the competitive service and value they receive.”– Wes Jones, Chairman
