Baldwins has once again been named both the best New Zealand trade mark firm and the best New Zealand copyright firm at the 2015 Asia IP Awards.
Being awarded the New Zealand Trade Mark category for the fourth year in a row, and the New Zealand Copyright category for the second year in a row was a standout achievement for the firm, making Baldwins one of only seven firms to walk away with multiple awards on the night.
The annual awards from Asia IP, an intellectual property magazine focusing on Asia and the Pacific, reward the best Patent, Trademark and Copyright firms from around the Asia Pacific region as determined by in-house counsel from Asia, Europe and the Americas.
"In-house counsel know that law firms based in Asia and the Pacific are doing quality work, on a par with that which is done anywhere in the world",
- Asia IP managing editor Gregory Glass.
The awards gala night was held in Okinawa, Japan on November 13th where Baldwins representatives Philip Thoreau and Sophie Thoreau were honoured to accept these two awards on behalf of the firm.
The complete list of finalists and winners can be viewed on the Asia IP website.
