Baldwins is proud to share some recent recognition achieved by the firm and its individuals at the 2016 New Zealand Law Awards and the 2016 Asia IP Awards.
New Zealand Law Awards 2016
For another year, Baldwins has been named a finalist at the NZ Law Awards for the IP Specialist Firm of the Year category. The awards, which are in their 12th year, celebrate and reward excellence in client service across the legal sector in New Zealand. This recognition affirms Baldwins' position as a leader in the New Zealand market and recognises the favourable outcomes our specialists have achieved for clients in the past 12 months.
In addition to firm wide recognition, recently promoted Senior Associate, Thomas Huthwaite, based in our Wellington office, has been shortlisted in the Young Private Practice Lawyer (35 years and under) category. Thomas has had an outstanding year having been involved in several high profile trade mark disputes with significant precedential effect. Thomas was also named as "one to watch" in the respected legal firm ranking and directory guide, the Legal 500 Asia-Pacific, earlier this year.
The NZ Law Awards winners will be announced at a gala dinner in Auckland on 17 November. Baldwins is one of five nominees in the IP Specialist Firm category, and congratulates the other finalists.
