Friday 27th May 2016
Baldwins has once again been named among the leading intellectual property firms in the world. Managing Intellectual Property has released the results of their 2016 survey, covering 80 countries and Baldwins has been ranked a leading firm across both the contentious and prosecution categories for trade marks and patents.
Clients praised the firm for its “pragmatic and effective prosecution and opposition support” as well as “fast turnaround, and effective and reasonable costs for search and analysis work”. In addition to firm-wide success, four of Baldwins’ partners have been individually recognised in the 2016 rankings – Penny Catley, Sue Ironside, Tim Jackson and Wes Jones. Chief Executive Mike Spraggon said:
“Again this year, Baldwins and some of the firm’s key specialists, have been honoured as IP leaders in New Zealand for both trade marks and patent expertise. This reinforces Baldwins continuing commitment to providing our clients with world class and comprehensive IP services.”
