Agnès assists clients with protecting, prosecuting and enforcing trade marks in New Zealand and overseas.

Agnès provides advice on issues including the availability of specific trade marks, oppositions to trade marks, and trade mark infringement and enforcement. She also assists clients with their related intellectual property rights - including copyright, rights under the Fair Trading Act and the tort of passing off.

Agnès enjoys working collaboratively with clients to devise brand strategies that will best achieve their business interests.

Before joining Baldwins as a law clerk in 2016, Agnès completed a conjoint Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts, majoring in French and Philosophy, at Victoria University in Wellington. She is currently studying towards her New Zealand Patent Attorney qualification and was awarded the New Zealand Institute of Patent Attorneys' prize for the highest mark in the 2017 exams for the A1/A2 paper New Zealand Law and Practice relating to Patents and Designs.

Outside of work, Agnès enjoys tramping and reading. She is also an enthusiastic (but amateur) cook.
